If you’re like most small business owners, you know how important a constant stream of valuable content is to your consumers. Small business content like blogs, lead magnets, web copy, and social media posts are great ways to get the attention of your target market. If your content is rife with errors, though, it makes those folks question your attention to detail and professionalism.
Whoever said you only get one chance to make a first impression was right. That’s why I try to make my blogs as jankety-free and error-free as possible. Of course, I’m human and may miss a thing or two on occasion, but I’d rather have my readers think I had an off day than think error-laden copy is par for the course. I try to ask someone else to proof for me because they’ll catch things my eye tricked me into seeing or not seeing. A fresh set of eyes is a good way to catch errors before the public does. - Other Copywriters

They’re usually happy to pull out their red pens and correct the heck out of your work. If you have a thick skin, copywriters (and English teachers) can save you a lot of embarrassment.

Grammarly is an online spelling and grammar checker. I love it because it catches mistakes my word processor sometimes misses. - Polish My
Writing
This one checks spelling, grammar, and style. It’s awesome at making you sound polished and professional.
These tools can give your small business content the professional voice your target market wants to see. Just be careful not to lose your own voice in the process. For instance, no spellchecker will understand the word jankety, but it’s still a word…right?
